Industry Outreach Compliance E-Learning Course
IDEAS2IMAGE created an e-learning website and multimedia course modules to deliver export compliance training to audiences outside of the United States.
Project Synopsis
In support of Commonwealth Trading Partners’ (CTP) contract with the U.S. Department of State, IDEAS2IMAGE developed a web-based e-learning course to provide online learning opportunities to export enforcement officials in foreign countries. The user-based system provides training and resources to users who are registered with the website. The website includes video, animation, and easy to modify learning materials.
During the early stages of development, IDEAS2IMAGE worked closely with CTP staff to research computer capabilities in foreign governments. Because media would play an important role in the e-learning modules, we have to be sure that the content would play smoothly on the majority of computers that accessed the information. At the end of our research phase, our team established baseline specifications for resolution, bandwidth, and audio.
IDEAS2IMAGE created an integrated system, which used the Expression Engine CMS, PHP, Flash, and video to deliver a sophisticated blend of information and media. We created animations that depicted a variety of export control scenarios, and were designed to resonate with an international audience.
